The Berardenga Horse Riding Centre is affiliated with the Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports. The horses are chosen and prepared personally by Donatella and Sadio and once considered suitable are never sold. Spoilt and taken care of, we allow our horses a serene and professional approach to horse riding.
Lessons are in small groups with riders of a similar riding level.
Every rider whatever his/her level is carefully looked after.

HORSE RIDING - MEDITATION
In an accelerated world, horse riding can become a form of meditation that makes one live in the present moment. It can help a person connect with nature thanks to the pulsating energy of these mythical animals we call horses. We have many one-day or more routes of two or more hours, reserved only for experienced riders, that we can show you, so you can come to know our region. A special place in which man and nature have co-existed in harmony in a profitable exchange over the course of centuries. Thanks to this process of ‘hibernation’ our region had during the Italian industrialization, it was left mostly intact. What you can experience today is very much like it was centuries ago.
From the article by Andrea McHugh on the magazine Yours: "...Berardenga Horse Riding Centre, which is run by Donatella and Sadio, a very friendly and welcoming husband and wife team who spoke impeccable English. Importantly, they also clearly cared very much for their horses, who all happily live out their retirements at the farm once their working live is over... Sadio, who is vegetarian, gave us the most delicious pasta I have ever tasted..."
