Weekly Riding Holidays
An ideal holiday location for the whole family. The best periods for an equestrian holiday are from April to mid June and from September to mid October, with the average temperatures between 18° and 28°c. Springtime offers the explosion of flowers, perfumes and the unrivalled concert of the birds; Autumn brings the gift of the warm colours of the woods and vineyards as well as the aromas and tastes of the grape harvest which takes place during this period.

We offer weeks for:
BEGINNERS: Those who want to follow an intensive course with tangible results by the end of the week.
ADVANCED: Those already experienced eager to visit those corners of Tuscany visible only on horseback.
EXPERTS: Those who want to do a mastering course with well-trained horses.
We lack nothing!
We don’t see ourselves as specialists in dressage, but work on the flat; we don’t propose jumps from 1.40mt. but small technical combinations that help with the equilibrium of the horse and the riders.
The preparation and the satisfaction of our students is our visiting card.
So after a morning of riding you can walk the streets and lanes of medieval Siena, or taste a glass of Chianti at the Brolio Castle, or Brunello at Montalcino, visit the Cistercian abbey of Mont Oliveto, enter into the heart of Chianti through the Volpaia village, or visit the famous cities of Florence, Cortona, San Gimignano or Arezzo. None of these are more than an hour from our riding centre.
An alternative is the possible combination of riding + a spa treatment plus a personalized massage at the nearby Rapolano Spa.
HORSE & RELAX IN TUSCANY
We accept all levels riders, starting from beginners. Maximum weight 85 kg
This week is a combination of equitation and free time for those who want to go riding, but who also have the time available to visit this corner of Tuscany.
As we have said, in fact, the riding centre is located in a strategic position with respect to the cultural and architectural attractions of our region. This proposal is ideal for:
Beginners who want to start riding with an intensive course and thus tangible results by the end of the week. The beginner who has two lessons a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, with a maximum of three students of the same level per group and with horses chosen and prepared with this aim in mind. The instructor starts the beginners with a gradual personalized lesson.
Normally after the first 3 days of lessons the students go out for the first ride, alternating the following days with lessons and rides.
Advanced Riders who already have experience and want to visit those angles of Tuscany that are only visible on horseback. In fact, thanks to a vast network of routes and country roads, we arrange a variety of itineraries for the rider to discover the history, culture and architecture of Chianti, immersed in nature and far from the noise of the asphalt roads. In these itineraries riders are always accompanied by a licensed guide. Our horses are professionals of these routes, and, as we have said, we alternate their work at the riding school with that in the countryside, which means we offer horses that will not stop in an attempt to graze or be frightened by a wild boar in the woods. These horses give to you the pleasant sensation that they are enjoying the route and the pace.
Expert Riders who want to take a further course with well trained horses.
Often the art of learning to ride is superficial and leaves large gaps. We are presumptuous enough to believe that we have the power to bridge these gaps, by explaining and making you train with serenity and competence.
WINE & HORSE IN CHIANTI
We accept riders of expert and “fit” level. Maximum weight 85 kg
This Week, our own creation since 30 years, is an experience that will immerse you in the Tuscan landscape, in its history and architecture, riding our friendly horses. Always in the saddle we will reach the wineries we have selected, for wine tasting.
The program is enormously successful among Italian and foreign horse people because it is a real journey of discovery with emotions that will linger for a long time. You’ll be immersed in the atmosphere of Proust’s famous phrase:

During this week we offer you the opportunity of discovering the variety of this territory, rich in architecture, vineyards, olive groves and woods.
The rider will have the pleasure of riding well trained horses that occasionally participate in dressage competitions and events, all in a perfect combination of relaxation and riding.
The price includes full board, including wine, riding, visits and wine tastings.
On request, for a minimum of 4 people, we can establish different dates from those fixed on our calendar.
