Weekly camps for children in the hearth of Tuscany:

Riding holidays for the whole family

From June to the end of July the Equestrian Centre organizes camp weeks for children from 7 to 16 years. The week begins on a Sunday afternoon and finishes on a Saturday afternoon with a final show.

The week is ideal for children who love animals and in particular horses, learning to live in a group, and learning to respect the rhythm and rules while enjoying themselves.

We have organized holidays for children since 1992, the children sleep in a twin or 4 bed rooms, with a bathroom.

Many see me running around and struggling and they ask me why I chose to do summer camps, so intense and tiring, taking great responsibilities.
That’s easy, for me life is doing, it’s energy that is created and goes around, and the horse riding centre would not be the same if in the last 30 years of activity the had not been the people and animals making it alive.
What the children give to me is the desire to live, learn and be enthusiastic, something which us adults often forgo in exchange for a comfortable life….

• Qualified and dedicated assistants for the children: 6

• Lessons are divided by experience level.

HORSE RIDING + ENGLISH AND ART

TYPICAL DAY

• 7:00 am – Wake up and preparation of the horses
• 8:00 am – Breakfast
• 9:00/11:30 – Equestrian activities
• 11:30 am – Equestrian theory
• 13:00 am – Lunch
• 2:30 pm – Art workshop
• 3:45 pm – English lesson / swimming pool (in case the English lesson will be on horseback)
• 4:45 pm – Snack
• 5:00/7:30 pm – Equestrian activities
• 8:15 pm – Dinner
• 9:15 pm/10:15 pm – Evening games
• 10:30 pm – To sleep!

• Accommodation in double or triple rooms with private bathroom (residential weeks only).
